Who streams on Chaturbate, and when: October 2026
From 28 September to 24 October 2026, GirlsLiveStream checked every live room on Chaturbate every 30 minutes. 143,670 different performers went live at least once, and at an average moment about 7,470 rooms were live.
What we found
- Colombia leads by a wide margin: 13,526 women who list Colombia as their country went live, 2.3 times as many as list the United States (5,960), the next country.
- Women were 45% of the performers we saw but 70% of the rooms live at an average moment. Men were 43% of the performers but only 17% of the rooms, so the average man spends far fewer hours live than the average woman.
- The site is busiest at 21:00–22:00 UTC, with about 8,580 rooms live, and quietest at 11:00–12:00 UTC, with about 5,640.
- For a typical woman's room the hour hardly changes the audience: the median room has between 9 and 11 viewers at every hour. What the hour changes is the competition, from about 4,050 women's rooms live at 11:00 UTC to about 6,120 at 16:00 UTC.
Who was live
Women make up the bulk of what is live at any moment. They were 45% of the 143,670 performers we saw, but because they spend more hours live, their rooms were 70% of everything live at an average moment. Men are the opposite: 43% of the performers but 17% of the rooms, because many of them go live rarely or briefly.
| Category | Performers seen live | Share | Rooms live on average | Share | Median viewers per room | Average viewers per room |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Women | 65,045 | 45% | 5,240 | 70% | 10 | 130 |
| Men | 61,116 | 43% | 1,240 | 17% | 11 | 35 |
| Trans performers | 10,323 | 7% | 670 | 9% | 8 | 30 |
| Couples | 7,186 | 5% | 320 | 4% | 25 | 350 |
Most rooms are small. The median room had about 10 viewers in women's rooms, 11 in men's rooms, 8 in trans performers' rooms and 25 in couples' rooms. The averages are far higher because a few rooms have thousands of viewers at once.
Colombia and the rest
Colombia is far ahead of every other country. 13,526 women who list Colombia went live at least once in these 27 days, against 5,960 who list the United States, the next country: 2.3 to 1. At the busiest hour the gap is wider: about 1,790 women from Colombia are online at once, against about 260 from the United States (6.9 to 1).
Women from Colombia also stream more regularly: 39% of those from Colombia that we saw in the last two weeks were live on at least 10 of the 14 days, against 14% of those from the United States. That is why the gap is wider at any one moment than in the count of everyone who went live.
Women from Colombia are busiest from 09:00 to 13:00 Colombian time, a daytime shift, and quietest at 06:00. Women from the United States are busiest from 22:00 to 03:00 US Eastern time.

The clock
Across the whole site the busiest hour is 21:00–22:00 UTC, with about 8,580 rooms live, and the quietest is 11:00–12:00 UTC, with about 5,640: 52% more rooms at the top of the day than at the bottom.
Each category keeps its own clock. Women's rooms peak at 16:00, men's rooms at 21:00, trans performers' rooms at 23:00 and couples' rooms at 21:00 (all UTC). Men and couples swing the most, with about 1.6 times as many rooms at their busiest hour as at their quietest.
| Category | Busiest hour (UTC) | Rooms then | Quietest hour (UTC) | Rooms then | Busiest ÷ quietest |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Women | 16:00 | 6,020 | 11:00 | 3,970 | 1.5× |
| Men | 21:00 | 1,460 | 11:00 | 910 | 1.6× |
| Trans performers | 23:00 | 780 | 11:00 | 510 | 1.5× |
| Couples | 21:00 | 380 | 11:00 | 250 | 1.6× |
Does the hour matter to a performer?
Performers often ask when to stream to get the most viewers. The usual answer is "at the busiest time", but the busiest time is also when the most rooms compete for those viewers.
For women's rooms, the hour makes little difference to a typical room. The median room, the one in the middle with half the rooms smaller and half bigger, had between 9 and 11 viewers at every hour of the day.
What the hour does change is the competition. About 4,050 women's rooms were live at 11:00 UTC and about 6,120 at 16:00 UTC. The audience moves too: women's rooms had about 557,000 viewers between them at 09:00 UTC and about 827,000 at 21:00 UTC, so viewers peak at a different hour from rooms.
The average room, which a few very large rooms pull up, peaks at 11:00 UTC with about 150 viewers, while the median room barely moves. For a typical performer, a quieter hour with fewer rooms live can be as good as the busiest one.

Weekdays and weekends
Across all categories, Friday is the busiest day, with about 8,020 rooms live at an average moment, and Sunday is the quietest, with about 6,410. Is Saturday night busier? Counting the rooms live between 18:00 and 24:00 UTC, Saturday evening is about the same for men, trans performers and couples and quieter for women (−9%).
Viewers: on Saturday evenings women's rooms had 3% more viewers between them than on Monday-to-Thursday evenings, and the median room had 10 against 9.
| Category | Busiest day | Quietest day | Saturday evening vs Mon–Thu evenings |
|---|---|---|---|
| Women | Friday | Sunday | −9% |
| Men | Saturday | Monday | −2% |
| Trans performers | Thursday | Monday | −3% |
| Couples | Friday | Monday | −1% |
Days are UTC days, and evenings are 18:00–24:00 UTC, which is evening in Europe and afternoon in the Americas. Each weekday came up only 3 or 4 times in these 27 days, so read small differences with care.
How regular are performers?
Most performers stream now and then. Of the 115,816 performers we saw in the last 14 days of the period (11 Oct to 24 Oct), 23% were live on at least 10 of the 14 days and 22% on just one day. Women are the most regular (33% on at least 10 days) and men the least (10%).
| Category | Seen live, 11 Oct–24 Oct | Live on 10+ of 14 days | Live on one day only |
|---|---|---|---|
| Women | 55,575 | 33% | 12% |
| Men | 45,815 | 10% | 36% |
| Trans performers | 8,741 | 29% | 16% |
| Couples | 5,685 | 20% | 25% |
How we count, and the limits
- Every 30 minutes we record every room in Chaturbate's public list of rooms that are online. A performer counts as live for that half-hour if their room is in the list.
- These figures come from 1,290 checks. A day counts only when at least 36 of its 48 checks ran, so an outage on our side doesn't look like a quiet day.
- Viewer numbers are the counts Chaturbate shows for each room at the moment of the check. We started recording them on 5 October, so the viewer figures cover 19 days, 6 Oct to 24 Oct. Someone watching two rooms counts in both.
- Country and language are what performers write on their own profiles. Some leave them out and some are wrong, so the figures describe rooms on Chaturbate, not the people of any country.
- We count rooms, not people. A couple's room counts once, and a performer with two accounts counts twice.
- Times are UTC unless a country's own time is named. Counts in the text are rounded; the CSV files keep one decimal.
